The Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir is the flagship ensemble in the Music and Worship Ministry. We rehearse each Wednesday night from 7:30-9 p.m. in the sanctuary and lead in worship each Sunday morning at 11 a.m. We also sing major programs twice a year - in the spring and at Christmas.This ensemble is excited about how God multiplies the talents of average singers to create superior praise unto His name. Membership in the Sanctuary Choir is open to all adults ages 18 and up and there is no audition required.

Our Purpose: As the Sanctuary Choir, we humbly and joyfully commit ourselves to glorifying God through music. To lead our congregation in authentic worship, we prepare our hearts, sacrifice our time, strive for unity and excellence, and create an environment for the Holy Spirit to transform His people.

The Praise Team

The Praise Team is a small ensemble of singers and instrumentalists who rehearse each Sunday morning at 9 am. for the purpose of exhorting the congregation in worship at the 11 a.m. worship service each Sunday. We lead in congregational choruses as well as present our own selections in worship once a month. Auditions are held on an 'as needed' basis for this ensemble.

Note: Singers, membership in the Sanctuary Choir is encouraged before considering membership in this ensemble.

The Children's Choir

As learning about worship and how to worship through music is a vital component in the formation of Christian faith and education, we at GBBC believe that the Children’s Choir is an essential step in the spiritual growth process for children ages 4 through 5th grade. The Children’s Choir is not only fun, but is also a wonderful way for children to learn about the fundamentals of Christian faith and worship as well as singing and music reading.

The choir meets every Sunday morning from 9:30 am - 9:45 am. in room 306.

Glen Burnie Baptist Church Quartet

The Glen Burnie Baptist Church Quartet performs "Southern Style" gospel music. The Quartet consists of Luis Gallo (lead / tenor), John Kelley, Sr. (lead / tenor), John Ritter (lead / tenor), Perry Sorrell (bass), and Patricia Kelley (pianist). Visit their website for upcoming concerts.
