Rev. Robert Rudman, Senior Pastor

Rev. Robert A. Rudman – Pastor Bob is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He was raised on Buckeyes football and Indians baseball. Bob has served in a variety of churches. In Virginia as Sr. Pastor and also in Florida and South Carolina as Minister of Education. He earned a Masters Degree in Pastoral Studies from Covington Theological Seminary and a Masters Degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Evangelism and Church Growth.
Bob and his wife Mary have been joyfully married for 21 years. They have one cat, Sniffles. Mary is an RN working at University of Maryland Medical Center in Cardiac care.
Bob’s life verse is Matthew 6:33. His favorite hymn is “How Great Thou Art”. His favorite movie is Cinderella Man. His favorite food is pasta.

Kathea Smith, Interim Worship Leader

Kathea moved to Maryland in 1996 with her family from South Carolina. She now resides with her husband in Pasadena with their two cats. Kathea has a Master's degree in counseling from McDaniel College. Kathea has participated in choirs and musical groups from a very young age both in church and school.
Kathea loves both the hymns that gives us our doctrine and the modern worship songs that share the more emotional side of our relationship with Christ. A blending of the two really shows the fullness of a relationship with Christ and she plans to use both in worship services.

Eric Heilker, Youth Minister

Eric is a native of the area being born and raised in Pasadena, Maryland. He is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University. Eric is a die hard Ravens fan and grew up watching Yankees baseball. In his free time Eric likes to play basketball and in the summer he likes to go to the beach.
Favorite bible verse: Titus 3:4 "But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy." |

Julie, a native Floridian, has lived in Glen Burnie since 1949. She has served GBBC in this role since August 2009. She and her husband, Jim, have been members here since 1961.
They have three daughters: Tricia and her husband Rodger and they live in Greensboro, MD, Amy & Jennifer live in Glen Burnie. They are blessed to have their 3 grandchildren.

Barbara Zimmer a former member of Glen Burnie Baptist Church is an Anne Arundel County resident. Barbara lives in Pasadena, Maryland with her Husband Phil & mother Carrie Bailey (a member of Glen Burnie Baptist). Her niece Leslie Aucoin and Leslie’s three children are also members of Glen Burnie Baptist church.
From 1981 to 1995, her preschool was licensed for 60 children and employed as many as 12 people. During that time she obtained her accounting degree from University of Maryland in College Park. In 1991 she became a CPA. In the years after her selling her preschool she worked in public accounting as an auditor and then in the private sector as a Finance Manager, Accounting Manager, Controller and CFO. She opened her own tax and accounting service firm in 2010.
When not working she enjoys sewing for her grandchildren (there are 11). She has 1 daughter and 2 sons, 2 step daughters and 1 step son. She considers herself extremely blessed.

Anthony, a native of North Carolina has lived in Maryland since 1992. He is a graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems.
Anthony and his wife Jennifer were married in August 2006. Anthony & Jennifer have a daughter, Savannah Claire. They live in Glen Burnie.

Pat, a retired elementary school teacher, has been an accompanist at GBBC for 40 years. She and her husband, John Sr., moved to the area from Mississippi in 1964. Pat is a graduate of Mississippi College. Pat and John live in Glen Burnie.
