Greeter Team
Our motto here at Glen Burnie Baptist Church is "Where it Feels Like Family". This is more than saying, it is the way that our church members feel towards one another. One of the most important ministries we have is the Greeter Team.
The Greeter Team's purpose is:
- To establish a sense of family - a group who truly cares;
- To provide friendly greetings and a helping hand to our church family, both members and visitors;
- To enable our church family to get to know one another better; and
- to enable church members to identify visitors.
The Greeter Team is a special opportunity for service because you are the first person people see when they enter the church. You will set the stage for their time of worship.
The Greeter Team places a couple of people at every entrance into the church.

Other Responsibilities:
- When necessary, assisting people out of their cars, opening doors and helping them into the building;
- Introducing yourself to people you do not know;
- Helping visitors to get registered at the desk and taking them to their classroom; and
- Introducing visitors to teachers.
